An other year... an other series of nice events at the Talbot Gallery & Grainger’s Bar. We crack on with our usual Breakfast... on the Corner on the 29th January ! This one will be 'Café Montmartre'.French breakie served from 11.00am at GRAINGER'S while the Irish Singer, Emilie Conway will be singing songs from the "sparrow" Edith Piaf!
At 1pm will follow a cosy French and English story-telling session with Fiona Dowling & Eleonore Nicolas at TALBOT GALLERY.
For 'Café Montmartre', Fiona and Eleonore will tell you some stories in English with a strong French flavour and also some in French that you will... mais oui! mais oui!... understand.

Hope to see you there - A Samedi les amis!
Polish Breakfast... on the corner - Dec 11
From 11.30 at Grainger’s - Ola Pukowiec & Band
After her time in Germany as a music student and choir master, the Polish singer Ola Pukowiec began to show her face in Dublin’s jazz scene in 2008. She was joined later on by guitarist David Beausang, Italian bassist Marco Santaroni and German drummer Sebastian Boes to work on her own compositions and interpret traditional polish folk songs. Some months later saxophonist Jamie Evans completed the 5-piece band who are about to record a first album in winter this year.
Café Brazil - Nov 20

This month, Talbot Gallery & Grainger’s Bar are launching Breakfast... on the corner, a series of new social events inviting people of different cultures to gather and socialise during a special moment of the day: the breakfast.
Once a month, on a Saturday, you will be introduced to the morning habits of different countries. Breakfast… on the corner kicks off on the Saturday 20th November with ‘Café Brazil’.
Traditional Brazilian breakfast menu will be available from 11.00 to 1.00pm at Grainger’s Bar, to be enjoyed with the evocative melodies and grooves of Bossa Nova with Irish Singer, Emilie Conway & Brazilian Guitarist, Janai Dias.
